The Asia Pacific Children's Convention (APCC) held in Fukuoka each year was created in 1989 during the Asia-Pacific Exposition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Fukuoka City. The long-standing association between AJSV and APCC goes from strength to strength. Each year Victorian Primary School students join over 200 children from countries in the Pacific region to promote peace and understanding across cultures. Children from Japan also visit Australia as an extension of this program.
An amazing opportunity for children, this year’s 2022 program – the BRIDGE (Virtual) Summer Camp will be held online over 3 sessions on Sundays in July and August. They are looking for four children to participate as Junior Ambassadors.
