Collecting Comme: This is an exhibition featuring designs from Rei Kawakubo,
a famous Japanese fashion designer known for her fashion label Comme des
Garçons. The exhibition explores Kawakubo’s key collections including those
from Comme des Garçons, and commonly occurring themes in her designs.
Japanese Modernism: Presented as part of Asia TOPA, this exhibition features
major works by young female artists from the first half of the twentieth
century. Types of works featured include paintings, fashion, accessories,
popular culture, and interior design.
