Frozen Heat: The Music of Dai Fujikura

Date and Time: Wed 17 April 7:30pm-9pm

Venue: Hanson Dyer Hall, Level 3 The Ian Potter Southbank Centre 43 Sturt St Southbank

Ensemble Three (Ken Murray guitar, Joel Brennan trumpet, Don Immel trombone)

As one of the leading voices of his generation, Japanese-born Dai Fujikura's music has been performed by a host of leading ensembles and soloists all around the world. This program features a brand new work written for the Conservatorium's very own Ensemble Three, as well as works for percussion and mixed ensemble. It is our great honour to have Mr Fujikura join us for this performance and a post-concert Q&A.

The Performance Bar on Level 3 in the foyer of the Hanson Dyer Hall will be open 30 minutes prior to the performance time and during intermission. A selection of beer, wine, sparkling, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.
