Once again, we ended the year on a high with a fantastic Japanese BBQ dinner at Tetsujin.
There were plate’s full delicious beef and pork to be cooked on the BBQ grill and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the theatrics and taking turns to cooking while some have proven their skills as a “MasterChef”. At all the tables the drinks and conversations flowed freely and some even took on the Asahi Tower! By the end of the night everyone was full and with reluctance said their goodbyes for the year….
With 30 people in attendance we welcomed many new faces (who we hope will join the AJSV community) and of course our loyal Konshinkai regulars a number of whom have been attending for many years without fail. We thank you all for attending and making this and all our events so successful.
2017 has been a very successful year for the AJSV, with a Beer & Cheese Tasting in April, Izakaya dinner in June, the Alumni night in August was attended by 80 people, our biggest event outside of the Gala Dinner and of course the ever popular Sake Tasting event in October.
We thank you our members for attending these events as without your attendance they would not happen, however special thanks goes to our dedicated volunteers who make these events possible! Many thanks to our Konshinkai volunteers, Celeste, Trevor, Sam and Deborah….
