Tanabe Takeshi :The Big Bang Symphony with Ode to Handel’s Water Music

Celebrate the opening of our first solo show with Japanese sculptor Tanabe Takeshi and the first sculpture show at Lesley Kehoe Galleries. Under the overriding concept of 'The Big Bang Symphony' Tanabe presents diverse series of works 'Dedicated to Handel's Water Music' and 'Locus of Time'. A regularly selected exhibitor at Sydney Sculpture By The Sea and with major works in public spaces in Asia, Tanabe's work is also represented in the Gibbs Sculpture Farm Collection in New Zealand.

This very special event will be a celebration of art in all its forms: performance art with Butoh artist Yumi Umiumare; Handel arias with mezzo soprano Victoria Hodgkinson; and acclaimed Dassai 23 Junmai Daiginjo graciously sponsored by Asahishuzo and presented by Sake Master and Dassai Ambassador Melbourne's Andre Bishop.

This will be a ticketed event. Please register your interest for an invitation and further information: gallery@kehoe.com.au.
