The Japanese Film Festival (JFF) returns in 2016 for its 20th anniversary with a huge national tour of Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, shining a spotlight on the best of Japanese culture from October 14th to December 4th.
Highlights of the 2016 Festival include CREEPY, the latest film from Japan’s leading horror director Kiyoshi Kurosawa (Cure) about a former detective who investigates the case of a missing family all the while obvious of the dangers close to home, CHIHAYAFURU PART I and II based on the popular manga series of the same name, and a fascinating documentary which captures the unique culture of the world’s largest seafood market, TSUKIJI WONDERLAND.
In Melbourne, JFF 2016 films will be screened at ACMI Cinemas & Hoyts Melbourne Central from Thursday 24 November - Sunday 4 December 2016. For further details, go to JFF website.

To go into the draw, please send an email with your name, mobile number and postal address to events with 'JFF2016' as subject. Entries will be closed at 12pm on Friday 11 November 2016. Winners will be contacted by 6pm on Monday 14 November 2016.
The competition is only open to AJSV membership holders and the membership has to be active at the time of entry.
Each entrant may only submit one eligible entry to the competition. Where multiple entries are submitted, only the first will be accepted.
The winners will be selected at random using Random Picker (https://www.randompicker.com/).
In the event that the a winner cancel his/her entry, we will select another winner from other entrant received.
Where we do not receive as many eligible entries as there are prizes, we do not under any obligation to distribute all of the prizes.
