Melbourne Japanese Summer Festival will be returning again in 2016, to engulf you in the world of Japanese culture and tradition. The festival will once again be held at Federation Square and will take place on Sunday 28 February from 12pm-6pm.
The festival’s entertainment will include vibrant cultural performances of Taiko drumming, and Japanese traditional song and dance. Games and activities such as origami and yo-yos will offer fun for the whole family to enjoy, while those who come dressed in costume could find themselves rewarded with prizes in the best-dressed cosplay competition. The always much anticipated raffle will be drawn at the end of the afternoon, with the grand prize of two Jetstar flight tickets to Tokyo up for grabs.
