MENTORING

Designed for young professionals, university students and recent graduates, the program helps build participants’ understanding and leadership skills relevant to engagement between Australia and Japan.

The program matches young people at the start of their careers (the mentees) with experienced mentors in the appropriate field of interest. The mentoring sessions provide opportunities for young executives and graduates to gain professional insight, and improve their candidacy for engagement in the relationship between Australia and Japan. The aim is to help build a group of highly skilled young professionals ready to become the next leaders within the Australia-Japan relationship.

The program includes alumni events with career development themes that help build professional networks from an early stage.
