The AJSV partners with affiliated organisations for Japan themed events in Melbourne, including the annual Japan Festivals in the CBD and Box Hill, and the Cherry Blossom (Sakura) Picnic in Banksia Park.

The AJSV e-Newsletter provides information on various cultural events throughout the year. The Program includes Golf Days for Members, Sporting Events, Film Festivals, Art exhibitions, and Music performances.
